Many BCC members may need to renew their MyLaps timing transponders used with the club's new electronic timing system. Their transponders purchased from the BCC came with 1 year’s subscription. These will need to be renewed now and 3 subscription options are available. A 1yr subscription is $37, a 2yr is $62 (or $31/yr) and a 5 yr one is $123 (or $24.60/yr).
The first link below gives a guide on how to renew the transponder subscription. You can copy the blue coloured web address https://speedhiveshop.mylaps.com/active-sports.html on the 4th line of the text in this document and paste it into the url address bar at the top of the page on your internet web browser go to to the website directly.
For any member who has recently purchased a transponder and have not activated it for the first time, the second link gives a guide to activating a new un-used transponder. Any new transponders bought from the club will have 1yr subscription when first activated.
If you do not have a computer or do not have someone who can help, then please approach one of the club’s committee members for assistance.
